Pathetic service from Vodacom

Got a contract for a Vodafone Tablet in January 2014 (24 Month Contract). Called the Customer Care Line Today, to confirm the contract can be cancelled. This was confirmed, and I was asked to call Cancellations on ********** . I called and spoke to Lasego Maleka. She asked why I needed the contract cancelled, I asdvised the contract period was over. She then advised that I upgraded the contract in Feb 2016, and the new termination date was now Feb 2018. I requested documents or voice recodings of the upgrade, as I did not request for any upgrade at any time. She confirmed with Team Leader and cam back to me saying a need to pay an early termination penalty if I want to cancel the contract. I advised this was unacceptable, and requested to speak to the team leader or manager. I was then put on hold for 15 minutes. When Lesego returned, she advised her team leader, Kabelo Malusi, was on a call with a client, and he will call me back. It's now been two hours, and still no return call from Kabelo Malusi. I've cancelled my previous contracts with Vodacom due to poor service levels, and this is the last contract I have. Vodacom is the worst cellular company to deal with, and their staff have no integrity at all, especially when they make promises they do not honour. I wonder if this complaint will even get a response.
