Pathetic service from Call centre consultants

i got a new vodacom contract online and received it on the 19th of September. On the 24th of September I phoned vodacom call centre to log a call that my new phone (5 days old) just stopped working and asked what i need to do. Nonthutuko advised me that i need to call vodacom repairs centre. i asked her to just please make a note on the system to say that i did phone the call centre to report that my phone is not working. she made the note and sent me a reference number. I then took my phone to vodacom store a few days later not knowing that samsung policy is that the phone needs to be sent back within 7 days. Vodacom store then advised that i can give them proof that i phoned the call centre to report that my phone is not working that they could then motivate to Samsung that i did report that the phone is not working within the 7days.

today i phoned the call centre, i first spoke to Ayanda that confirmed that Nothutuko added the note on the system to say that that i phoned in and advised that the phone is not working but she cannot send me proof - not a mail or sms. i asked to speak to a manager. she gave the phone to Mlungisi who then also refused to assist me with proof that i indeed logged a call. without that proof samsung will not accept the phone. Why is it so difficult to send a customer a mail and just say that they can confirm that the customer phoned in on the 24th and add the reason?? don't even know why i am still with Vodacom as all they cause is problems!! i hope someone from Vodacom can call me and assist with my dilemma. I got a deadline from the vodacom store to send them the proof by tomorrow afternoon at 1

Lets see if Vodacom cares...
