PATHETIC SERVICE BY VODACOM
<p>We handed in a Samsung S6 at Vodacom Southern Centre on the 2nd of August 2016 for replacement of glass etc. within Samsung Guarantee. The guarantee expiring date is 3 August 2016. Arno de Meyer at Southern Centre was very helpful and friendly. He handed the phone the same day to the driver and informed the driver that he must take the phone immediately to the Vodacom repairs at the Waterfront due to the fact the guarantee will expire the following day. Vodacom at the Waterfront contact us and told us that we have to pay an excess amount of R3500-00 to repair the phone because the phone was received at their shop on 4 August 2016. Why did it take Vodacom 2.5 days to deliver a cellphone to the Waterfront that is only 5.9 kilometers away from one another? Why should I as client pay for service without guarantee if I did handed the cellphone in at time? This mistake from Vodacom will cost me R3500-00 and I feel this is unfair towards me as client. Unfortunately, Vodacom Head Office promise to give attention but Up to know we did not get any further feedback NOR the cellphone. We did phone Loch Logan Waterfront today 20 August 2016, they said that they don’t know where the phone is. I don’t think this is good customer service.
