Pathetic service and RUDE AGENTS!!!!
I had a nasty encounter with a call centre supervisor named Sanele Songo at their Midrand centre, as rude as ever, not helpful at all and put the phone down on me. I have the emails with her, not apologetic at all and not willing to assist me at all. Saying "I WILL NOT" get my number back and this number has been deleted which to me doesnt make sense considering it is a contract number.
I then visited their Woodmead store and spoke to a lovely lady there named Margaret Mokoena, so helpful. She checked on the system to find my line is blocked but my number is still on my name (it is not deleted), she assisted me with a sim swop and i made a payment toward my account and i paid R150 for the new sim card.
I sent follow up emails to ********** and to Margaret to which she rep**** saying that she is unable to see further on the system and to follow up directly with reactivations.
The first email was sent from Margaret to reactive the line on the 28 May 2018, I then followed up on 5 June 2018 with no response and another follow up was sent AGAIN on 3 July 2018 to receive a "Copy & Paste" reply from a VSP (not too sure how you can sign off a mail like that) on 12 July 2018- OVER A WEEK LATER stating that the reactivation cannot be done and that the account had been written off (Strange considering I am still paying for it)
Much to my dismay i emailed back immediately requesting an explaination as to what the hell is going on and why I keep getting told something different all the time and why Vodacom is so LAZY to assist their clients considering I saw my number still on my profile with my own eyes when I visited woodmead.
And guess what! No REPLY! for another week, to which today 18 July 2018 I receive a response from Louran Kaynie stating the following "Thank you for your email response.
Please be advised that when you called the call center on the 28/05/2018 the supervisor advised you that your number cannot be reactivated as it has been deleted due to non-payment.
Once a pre-legal discount letter has been sent to you that is the amount required to settle the account and not for reactivation.
I trust that the above is in order." See the problem I have here is that firstly I saw my number (blocked) when I visited the store, secondly if its been deleted why the hell am I still paying the account and what do i do with the sim card I purchased and Paid R150 for????
So once again I IMMEDIATELY responded to Louran with this - "Hi Louran
Thank you for Finally getting back to me after almost a week.
I hope to get a quicker response going forward.
I have made a payment plan with vodacom when i visit your woodmead branch to which i was advised that once the account is paid up that the line will be reactivated.
I have already paid R150 for a new sim card and done a sim swop.
So either their is broken communication somewhere or vodacom doesnt know how to give their clients CORRECT information and service.
So therefore as i was told previously my line WILL BE REACTIVATED once the account is paid up. Therefore what I have been promised I am entitled to receive.
AWAITING YOUR VERY URGENT RESPONSE. "
And so I am here commenting on your very unsatisfied post, As much as I am at fault for allowing arrears on my account, "CUSTOMER SERVICE" is something that is greatly lacked in the Vodacom call centres.
I have many disagreements with the agents that work for Vodacom and NOTHING gets done, NO APOLOGY! Call me difficult but I am the client at the end of the day.
Im sure my rant is absoulutely a waste of my time considering vodacom probably will not even get back to me. "Best network" -maybe "Best Service" - Definitely NOT!!
My suggestion to you fellow hellopeter friend - Cancel your contract and join another network that is what I will be doing.
