Pathetic service
On the 26/01/22 I upgraded my contract at The Bridge Vodacom. I switched on the phone on the 27/01/22 and it was dead. I even charged it for about 20 min but still nothing. And this is a "fast charge" phone. I took the phone back at 09H00 on the 28/01/22. 41 Hours later. The phone was put on charge again and I clearly stated the phone is not coming on I would like a new one. At this point I was informed of a OBF procedure. I informed the manager I was never informed of this and she shrugged it off and told me the lady must inform me. At this point the phone was taken to the back office and placed in charge again. After a while the Huawei agent was phoned. I went to the manager and told her I would like to cancel the contract. The lady then came from the back and told me the phone is now on. I still maintained I do not the phone. What if it gives problems a month from now. I will have no recourse. I was then forced to take the phone as it was coming on. I took the phone and phoned 082135 where I was told they replace the unit if returned within 14 days. I then laid a complaint and was contacted to take the phone. I took it back on the 02/02/22 after I was told by way of e-mail, to have it at the store before 09H00 as RAM would pick it up. I had it there at 08H45 and the phone was booked in for the OBF. On the 08/02/22 I received a sms to say phone must be exchanged. I notified the manager and was told now they must 1st send a e-mail and then wait to see how much they will be refunded with. I was told it would take 2-24 hours. I made a follow up on the 10/02/22 and when told they are still waiting for the e-mail is requested the contract to be cancelled . To date - nothing!!! No phone, no cancelleation, no refund on my account and of the upgrade fee. Unstead I receive a e- mail this morning where I am blatendly made out as a ****. Infact, the e-mail states I am a ****. I am hugely disappoinet in the service I received after being a customer for I think 8 years who most of the time have 3 to 4 concurrent contracts. I am definatly re- thinking my contracts.
