PATHETIC SERVICE

I upgraded in March 2016 to a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and my phone was working fine.

Since August 2016, my phone has been giving the following problems:

· Battery not lasting 1 day. By 12h00 daily my phone is dead as the battery did not last.

· My phone is heating up.

· My phone switches on and off by itself or hanging that I cannot use my phone.

I am an Financial Advisor and spends most of my day in my car. I cannot afford not to be without a phone and so I took my phone to Vodacom Menlyn in on 12/09/2016.

1st DESPATCH dated 12/09/2016

Ø For a week I had no phone and a loan phone was not available. For a WEEK! When I got my phone back, all they did was a Software Upgrade?!?!?!?!?! WHAT?

Ø Also, I had to buy 2 8gig memory cards as Vodacom was unable to load all my info on 1 card. I went to Vodacom EVERYDAY that week to collect my memory cards and the guy who had them, kept it on him personally and was never available. Eventually the next week I got hold of him and said I was coming to collect my memory cards.

Ø When I logged to info onto my Google Drive, I lost over 300 photos of my children and 20 video clips. This was all I had of my kids from birth to date and lost it due to Vodacom not doing their jobs properly.

2nd DESPATCH dated 03/10/2016:

Ø After collecting my phone from the 1st repair, 2-3 weeks later I had the same problem with my phone.

Ø Heating up, losing battery power, switching on and off as it pleases.

Ø I took the phone back to Vodacom on 03/10/2016 and for another couple of days I was without a phone.

Ø When they said I can collect, the despatch note said NO FAULT FOUND?!?!?!?!?! WHAT!!!!

Ø I requested for an exchange but no one could help or advise me what to do.

3rd DESPATCH dated 09/10/2016:

Ø The day I was called to collect my phone from the previous incident, again I was informed NO FAULT FOUND and I lost it.

Ø I spoke to Gappie at the same Menlyn Branch and he promised me to take matters into his own hands to try and figure out what was going on.

Ø He said he will arrange for the phone to me placed in a mobile oven so they can open the battery to see if something was wrong with the battery.

Ø He promised me he will send us an email the very next day to inform us what will be done.

Ø When I gave him another week to respond I was informed he resigned – and NOTHING HE PROMIED ME HE WOULD DO WAS DONE.

Ø Again I have my phone back and still giving me the same problems.

My phone is still under warranty and Vodacom refuses to replace my phone? WHY??

To date no consultanty can tell my why an exchange cannot be done and that I have to book in my phone again, and again, and again. I am sorry but my time & moeny is way too valuable than sitting in Vodacom every freaken week!

I am requesting an exchange. IMMEDIATELY. I will not bring in my phone again to be tested as I cannot be without a phone.

I expect urgent feedback as confirmation when I can collect a new phone.

CANNOT ATTACHED MY PHOTOS TO SHOW WHAT IS HAPPENING WITH MY PHONE.
