Pathetic service!!!!

I had 2 contracts with Vodacom, my first one ended I Jan 2021 and the second one in June 2021. When my first one ended I was advised to call Vodacom in June to cancel my second one as I was not interested in renewing it as well. However after advising Vodacom that I was not extending the contract I still got debited the next month, which of course I reversed because I was no longer needing the service as I had advised their consultant. My number was then blocked and account handed over. I have been struggling with them since July last year, was even told to go do an affidavit that I had cancelled the contract when it ended, which I did but still get letters of demand and whenever I call them I'm always taken from pillar to post, even promises to be called back but no one does. Now from them claiming that I owed them R300 from an ended contract which they blocked to this day, I now owe them R900. This is really disgusting, I would understand if I never honoured my initial contract term of 24 months but to go through all of this after the end term of my contract is really beyond words for me. This is just incompetence at another level. I will never ever take any contracts with Vodacom ever again and told my husband to do the same after his contract term ends as well. I will also be cancelling my life cover insurance with them.

Your retentions team has been dealing with this matter since July last year, not sure what more investigation will they be doing now. Unless you have hired a while new retentions team.
