Pathetic Service

I myself have been a customer of Vodacom for 20 + years and this is the first time in my life that I am so disappointed with the service from Vodacom that I will definitely not promote their service anymore.

Vodacom keep on sending my Granma sms's to say that my Granpa must phone them because his account is behind. Unfortunately my Granpa can not phone them because he is deceased and proof of his death certificate have been handed in to one of their stores in Rustenburg twice already, the first time being 8 September 2017 and the cellphone number in question have been moved over to my account after I was assured that the account is paid up to date and that no further deductions will be going off on my deceased granpa's bank account!

Well let me tell you so far the debit order on my deceased granpa's account have ran every month and because there is no money going into that account in is returned every month, then the bank charge R150 for this and Vodacom conveniently charge an additional R100 for this, when I phone Vodacom on ********** which is their Subscriber Collection Contact Centre they ask for the cellphone number and as soon as I enter it I go through to Customer Care. After being cut of 2 when the Customer Care Department tried to put me through to accounts, I tried again and this time the Lady in Customer Care explains to me that I keep on going through to Customer Care because only accounts that is in arrears goes through to the accounts department when the number is typed in.

Now my question is this I have been told by about 5 Vodacom employees in the month of November and today that this cellphone number is not in arrears but we still receive the sms's and the debit order still run on my deceased granpa's account at our expense after I have personally twice handed in his death certificate at the Vodacom Branch and further more I can not get through to the accounts department. I would like a accounts manager from Vodacom to contact me to discuss this issue because I am tired of trying to resolve it without any success! I am not going to put the cellphone number that is in question in this review, but I will leave my number if there is a manager at Vodacom that value their clients.

I am extremely disappointed in the service that I have experience from Vodacom in the last 3 months.
