Pathetic service
Good Day

About a month ago i received a letter of demand from vodacom i was surprised because i didn't know why this letter was send to me because I've been paying my account every month via Debit order which was a amount R125 per month, however after contacting customer services they told me that my debit order failed i was surprised because it never happened before they however said that it was the fault of my bank i couldn't understand how that's possible because vodacom was suppose to send the debit order instruction to my bank and as we all know a bank approves that instruction without contacting their client or the account holder anyway that aside so the debit order failed vodacom didn't have the decency to contact me and ask why did your debit order fail, instead they handed me over to lawyers now yes maybe i could've checked my bank account and made sure they were paid but i didn't because R125 is minor to me i have more important stuff to pay which i usually make sure is paid, the reason for my complaint is basically for the following reasons i was not called to be informed my debit order failed and remember that was for the 1st time in how many months, i was handed over to lawyers without even being asked to state my side of the story which is really unfair.
Further to the above i was handed over to the lawyers they said i owed Vodacom R6475, I asked them if i can make a once off payment and if yes would they be able to lower the amount for me they responded and said yes so i eventually paid R5562 please be advised that i have all this correspondence on email which serves as enough proof, so i thought everything was settled in full i contacted Vodacom and asked them to send me statement confirming that my account was paid in full unfortunately that never happened instead they send me a statement and invoices confirming i have a credit balance of R3900 now being a Financial Professional myself i'm aware that they are going to offset the invoices against the credit balance every month but i'm not at all comfortable with this because i know as soon as that credit balance disappears after a few month who's not to say that they will continue to invoice me meaning they will than say i owe them this and that amount? judging by their poor admin s**** i wouldn't be surprised if it happened. So i contacted legal department this morning they said they were gonna send me a settlement letter i'm still waiting, i asked the lady from legal department to request a statement from their accounts department with a zero balance and send it to me i'm still waiting, Poor service at its best but their quick when it comes to handing people over to lawyers.
My request is simple i don't want to have any more communication with Vodacom this network and it staff have been a nightmare to me i would simply appreciate it if i can receive the settlement letter(I PAID MY ACCOUNT IN FULL WITH THE ATTORNEYS), i also want a statement with a zero balance and lastly i want the vodacom arrears to be taken off my ITC!! This is very crucial my ITC shows i owe Vodacom R4267, I MEAN REALLY NOW the lawyers said i owe R6475 I paid R5562 which is the agreed upon amount with the lawyers to settle the account in full now how in the hell is there still an amount of R4267 on my ITC?? please have it removed and just disappear vodacom sucks and thats a fact!!
Thank you Edward
