Pathetic service

Good morning

So on the 13/14 march 2017 I have booked my handset in for repairs with the vodacom shop, canel walk where I have received by far thee best service ever , and my handset was fixed free of charge and returned by the 28th of March 2017.

This experience was however short lived as a debit order on my bank account went off to vodacom for and unfami**** amount of , r1333,00 on the 29th March 2017...bare in mind my usual amount is r209,00. Later that day I went into my nearest Vodacom store to query this debit order. I found out that an additional contract was taken out earlier in the year on my name which I was unaware of . Vodacom golden acre was not of much assistance and so I went to the Kenilworth Center branch where I was met with friendly, professional and great help, with there assistance I filled in the necessary documentation and attaed the required documentation (copy of id, police affidavit and all other relevant documents) , this was all submited by 30 March 2017, apart from having submitted instore, I have logged a additional query later that day aswell. In addition to this I have also notified my bank and the payment was reversed and debit order cancelled immediately. To date apart from two reference numbers I have not received any sort of communication pertaining to the matter and when I called Vodacom yesterday 12 April 2017, I was told that there has been no progress made and an investigation is yet to be opened and I would receive a call later in the day , which I still have not received.

To top this off , after I have informed Vodacom I am unable to pay the amount of r1333,00 and that I will only pay the amount r209,00 I am still receiving calls and sms's stating my account is in arrears. This is pathetic , your system should indicate that a particular number is locked for investigation and that I have indicated I am unable to pay and why. Vodacom is extremely quick to want payment but utterly useless at protecting there customers personal information, this was a breach of privacy , and Vodacom is directly responsible for this. There is nothing worst then knowing all you work for is at stake because of someone else's negligence. And before I am told this contract is taken out with the rewards co., I have submitted the exact same documentation to them a day later and already they have gotten back to me confirming it to be a ********** contract... I am done with Vodacom , I cannot wait till December for my contract to come to an end so that I am no longer affiliated with them.

SADLY THE EXCELLENT SERVICE I RECEIVED FROM CANEL WALK AND KENILWORTH IS NOT HOW I WILL BE REMEMBERING MY EXPERIENCE WITH VODACOM.

And now I received this, "Your Collections Outgoing Calls Bar has been activated. To view balances, buy bundles & save dial *111# or visit vodacom.mobi."

When will this be resolved, will I first have to be blacklisted?

or get a lawyer and have it resolved in court?

is there light at the end of the tunnel?

Do you simply not care about your customers?

I received nothing apart from a reference number , not even an apology...

VODACOM SUCKS!!!!
