Pathetic service

I had an issue was raised with Vodacom regarding their PlayEveryDay rewards on their app. The short of it was that when attempting to redeem one of the vouchers received at CNA I was told the voucher had expired and could not be used. This was raised with the customer care via the email ********** I received a phone call shortly after wards and was told thereafter I was going to receive a follow up call to further investigate this issue. This was 30/01/2017. In the email confirming the conversation it stated that I would recieve a phone call in 7 days which would make it the 7th of February that I was to receive feedback at the latest. I did not and so I sent a follow up email on the 20th of February. I was told that this matter would be investigated, upon this I received a phone call on the 22nd of February whereby the person who called me did not read the emails that I had sent and I promptly told him to read the email before I continue the conversation. I then reported this to customer service as I did not receive a follow up call. There was a follow up email which stated that the case had been closed.

This has been the battle that I have had since this date. There has been no clarity from anyone as to what is happening. There have been empty promising of responding to my requests within a certain time period and this has not happened. What seemed to be a simple explaination has been a frustrating time for myself and there is apparently little or no concern shown. I am refusing to answer anymore calls from Vodacom as I have to completely retell the story despite this being on email. I have further requested that all the responses be via email as everytime I have a convesation over the phone the consultant either closes the case or ignores my request.

Based on this experienced I have little to no faith in the service delivery of Vodacom and how they value their customers. This is also based on the numerous other unrelated issues that I have raised with them via their call centres. The staff I have had dealing with are poorly trained and do not make any effort to read or listen to anything that I have to say. It also appears that they do not have the technical understanding nor the will to understand either.
