From the 24th of Feb we have been struggling endlessly to get Vodacom to pay attention to the problem and I’m sure if Vodacom made the effort to assist us at the time instead of blatantly ignoring the trail of reports left on Facebook, Twitter, emails and calls that can be traced from my 076 ********** number on the 2nd of March at 18:13 that lasted 5 minutes where I lost my cool with one of your call centre agents where the phone was just put down in my ear, I did however receive a call from an agent on the business side responding to a fault logged by my wife and she promised I would be called back by an agent to address the issue, guess what? Nothing happened. you could have made a plan but chose to ignore this. I want the contact cancelled plainly because of terrible service along with a poor quality product that I am not happy with.

Wrap your head around this and understand the phone chassis is bent skew because of the battery that is swelling and your repair centre will swap it out for a repaired or otherwise known as a refurbished unit, one cannot repair the current unit we have as it is BENT!, I refuse to accept a repaired replacement and having to pay for a phone that is not new.

We have the phone 52 days to date of which we are going into the 3rd week of issues with reporting this. You are selling a defective product.

Best Regards

JP Papenfus

C2KIT Computer Supplies (PTY) LTD

********** 774 (Office)

012 ********** (Direct)

Skype (live:johan1983_2)

Because life is simply just too short to remove a flash drive safely!

From: Vodacom Online Admin **********
Sent: 06 March 2017 02:50 PM
To: ********** /> Cc: ********** ********** /> Subject: Re: RE: ********** 065

Hi Chantelize Papenfus,

Ticket: https://vadminlikeminds.freshdesk.com/helpdesk/tickets/3731

Kindly be advised that you should of reported the faulty device with in the 14 day period and we would of gladly replaced it for you, unfortunately we are unable to give you a replacement as its out of the 14 day period and 2 months have passed,in your terms and conditions it states that you have 7-14 working days to return the device should you find fault with it,

Kind Regards,

Kendell

On Mon, 6 Mar at 7:21 AM , JP ********** wrote:

Bottom line is you sold a faulty defective product and hide behind policies without wanting to help client, we are being ********** here and I will not accept that. Funny how the device went faulty only a couple of weeks outside this timeframe you give your clients, this will not be left alone. A faulty defective product is sold to us and I will explore my rights here under the consumer protection act, I will not be bul**** by corporates like yourself. The upgrade was done mid-January, the device started giving problems 3rd week into February (1month in) and we have been struggling to get assistance for 2 weeks. Add it up and you get to the point where you sold us a product that is defective but demand will price for it..

Your last email states that Admin don’t make the calls which tells me the situation is clear that you hide behind policies and did not escalate it as we have asked you to do.

I have CC’d Legal Wise into this email to weigh in and provide legal advice to what steps we can take next as you just blatantly refuse to help us.

Best Regards

JP Papenfus

C2KIT Computer Supplies (PTY) LTD

********** 774 (Office)

012 ********** (Direct)

Skype (live:johan1983_2)

Because life is simply just too short to remove a flash drive safely!

From: Vodacom Online Admin **********
Sent: 06 March 2017 01:48 PM
To: ********** /> Cc: ********** ********** /> Subject: Re: RE: ********** 065

Hi Chantelize Papenfus,

Ticket: https://vadminlikeminds.freshdesk.com/helpdesk/tickets/3731

Kindly be advised that your OBF has fallen away you had 7-14 working days to return the device if it had given you problem your upgrade was done in January unfortunately we will not beable to replace the device,my sincere apologies.

Kind Regards,

Kendell

Virus-free. www.avast.com
3731

Virus-free. www.avast.com

3731
