Pathetic Service

Please note that the below correspondence was sent to your complaints team last week and still no response. I want this resolved immediately, or you leave me no choice but to take this matter further.

Good Afternoon

To whom it may concern,

Please be advised that your service in Cavendish Square store is absolutely pathetic. You need to redress the criteria for hiring your staff, these people are in the front line of the business and have no people s****s!!!

Firstly, I came in your Vodacom store on Saturday the 04/02/2017 I then app**** for a contract and was undecided about a phone, however was keen to start the application process, so that upon approval I could just choose a cellphone. I was missing my payslips and was mentioned I could email the payslips to the given email address and then will be called once the contract is approved. I then received a delivery message stating that the consultants mail box is to full, whats the point if emails are not managed??? Secondly I tried to go on to the website which is down for some other reason, but was able to call the store. The lady consultant checked my id and my contract was approved…. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE FOLLOW UP CALL I WAS PROMISED WHEN I APP****?

Secondly, I came into the store to collect and choose a cell phone(07/02/2017) and this lady’s body language was sooooo poor that I felt bad for coming into the store….. None the less I was still keen at that time. By the end of the transaction I felt bitter even though I had just signed a 24month deal with this people and acquired a new cell phone… Not the service one expects from “Vodacom”.

Thirdly, When I got home I then realised the lady had not even mentioned anything about the special sim card required for the device. I then had to come back the next day (08/02/2017) and initiated a “simswop”, only to find out the next day that the incorrect number was “swopped” and the number given was a ****** phone’s number of which I received random calls from a lady offering me rewards for her daughter phone.. I mean really????

Fourthly, I called the store about this and then was requested for me to go back and collect another sim card.. By this time I was already tremendously distressed and did not want to make the route back to the store! The consultant then mentioned to me that they have a chain store in Adderley street cape town and I could just go and collect the sim card and she will do the rest on her side(09/02/2017), and that is would take about 4hours for it to be active.. It has now been 30hours without any signal!!!

I furthermore called the Vodacom directories as I no longer wanted to deal with the store. Dealt with a gentleman by the name of “Tabelo” and he mentioned to me the simswop was never intitiated by the store!!!!

I will now take the device back and cancel my contract with VODACOM and will be signing with the YELLOW STORE.

THANK YOU.. Get back to me or don’t….either way I am done with you…!!!!
