Pathetic Service

<p>I contacted Vodacom to cancel my contract which has now come to an end. The call agent persuaded me to upgrade my contract which I then did. The upgrade came with a free alcatel device which would be delivered to my address. The courier service they use refused to give me the phone because I have susequently changed my surname but I did have my drivers license which as far as I know is perfectly acceptable as far as positive Identification is concerned. I instructed the courier to return the device and I contacted vodacom to cancel the upgrade. Needless to say the courier tried to deliver the phone to me again! Again I told them to return the phone to vodacom. I have now been struggling for better part of a week to get somebody at vodacom to help me get this upgrade cancelled. Their customer care centre in somerset west couldn't help me because they only had 2 agents on the floor and 8 customers waiting ( is this my problem??? ) The call center then told me the only person who could cancel the u/grade was the call agent who initially helped me but they had no idea who that person was! Really? It was then passed on to another department who resolved to have my query dealt with within 72 hours, hello, it's been more than a week now! I have just called again and now vodacom systems are down, sorry M'am we can't help you. Vodacom, I've had enough of your ******* service. i will not upgrade my contract with you instead I will enrich another company who might care a little more than you do. thanks for nothing.</p>
