Pathetic, repulsive, ********* and thieving

Approximately 27 August, I walked into Vodacom Repairs and Sabelo assisted me. I asked various questions around packages as I was allowed to upgrade my contract on 01 September and I also wanted to open a data contract with Vodacom. Sabelo arranged an iPhone 6s and a ZTE R226 wi-fi router for me.

01 September I came in to upgrade my contract and then open a new wi-fi contract with Sabelo. I explicitly asked Sabelo when I would have my first deduction of R579.36. He assured me the first amount would be deducted at month end. I asked again if he was sure, as I had not catered for this amount this month - so if I was to be deducted before month end then I would need to wait until pay day before opening the wi-fi contract. He assured me, and doubled checked with the shop manager Lindiwe, it was definately month end. The lady that looks after that single payment booth also assured me it would be month end.

10 September Vodacom deducted R2,896.80 from my FNB debit account (5 deductions of R579.36). I queried this with FNB who suggested I call Vodacom as I was not the first person to call FNB with this exact problem. I called Vodacom - they said it was a system error on Vodacoms side and that they are working on it. I called again on Sunday to ask when this would be remedied as I am in arrears with FNB and I don't want to be penalised for something that is not my fault - a Vodacom system error. They assured me that all 5 transactions would be reversed and that I would be refunded.

12 September Vodacom reimbursed me with R2,317.44. I called them and asked where the remaining R579.36 would be paid and they said it wont. That R579.36 was owed to Vodacom for the wi-fi contract. My wi-fi package only went live on 6 or 9 September, so how can this full months amount be deducted a few days later? Also as mentioned, Sabelo and his 2 colleague assured me that the first amount would only be deducted at month end.

13 September, FNB has deducted R375 from my account as it was in arrears due to Vodacom having deducted those 5 amounts.

I would really like help resolving this, as I don't believe it is fair that I be out of pocket on something I openly tried to avoid by speaking clearly to Sabelo.

19 October i called in to customer care as Attie and Lindiwe from the Fourways Repair store were of NO help. Totally useless. Spoke to Boitumelo, she escalated my query, ref # 1/ ********** 9489. My query: wanting a R375 credit from Vodacom. Reason: Vodacom deducted an amount 5 times, outting my FNB bank account into arrears - thus FNB penalised me.

26 October, called customer care again, spoke to a gent (and this stage I don't care to collect anymore Vodacom employee names) to follow up on my R375 credit. New ref # 1/ ********** 4938.

17 January 2017 - STILL NO CREDIT FROM VODACOM.

Please explain to me how you, as a company, could employ such unhelpfull people?! Please explain to me what is SO difficult about my request. I will not let this go, on principle. The service I have received is repulsive, souring, disgraceful, ********* and downright thieving.
