Pathetic processes, App and service.

Where to begin. I wanted to use the app to upgrade my phone as I am due for an upgrade in 2017 already. I attempted to do an upgrade. When wanting to sign the terms and conditions it stated the following " Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit". I accepted these terms and conditions. I was prompted that a agent will contact me. Never happened. A couple of days later I get a message from RAM that a pare is on its way. Contacted Vodacom, After struggling to get the agent to understand that I DID NOT receive any phone. They assisted me to place a new order for a LG V30 +. That was Last week firday. I was told it will take between 24 and48 hours for delivery. ( excluding weekends) . This is now a whole week later and I contacted Vodacom again just to be informed that the poor RAM guy was hijacked and I will have to wait an additional 3 weeks, after already waiting 3 weeks with this process. The part that concerns me is the fact that I HAD to contact Vodacom, This is 3 DAYS after the package was supposed to be delivered. Only to be informed by the call center agent that they did not know about this. Clearly there is a lot of work to be done on the processes involved with confirming that the customer received the phone. Someone also need to take a long and hard look at the development and QA processes for the vodacom app. I should not be able to accept terms and conditions that is only a "Lorem Ipsum" pasted in. It is shocking that a company the size of Vodacom can have so many holes in their processes and amateur mistakes made on the app. The call center agents were also not much help, If I hear " we are sorry" on more time without any solution being proposed to the problem at hand I will probably **** myself from anger. This whole process has been keeping me busy for almost 3 weeks now, having to do all the followups myself, because Vodacom just do not see the need to do so themselves. PATHETIC!!!

All and all, this has been a painful experience costing me a lot of my time and energy. Seems amazingly amateurish for a company that is supposed to be on the forefront of their industry in South Africa.
