Pathetic, Pathetic, Pathetic!!!!!

Since December 2019 we have been contacting Vodacom so called "Customer Service" to complain about the shocking network service that they provide in our area. We have sent emails, called their customer service line and sent messages on their Facebook Messenger account. And to date we still have what one can only describe as the most pathetic network ever provided. As is the norm with Vodacom, they will pass the buck, the most popular one being that the fact that we have such poor or no network is due to loadshedding and whats laughable is that they have blamed loadshedding when there hasn't even been any for days. And what makes it even worse is that MTN still has signal during load shedding and on the occasion that it does go down due to a 4 hour load shedding it comes back up not long after Eskom is back. So how is it that MTN can keep its network up and running for their clients during loadshedding but Vodacom can't even keep their network up and running outside of load shedding, never mind during.

I have been told more than once that they are working on improving the network infrastructure in our area but due to 3rd party delays they haven't been able to do this. Again, passing the buck. And what makes it even more laughable is that they advertise that they are South Africa's leading network. Now that is false advertising if I ever heard it. And on top of all of this, when you contact their so called customer service agents, they ask the most inane questions and make comments which are just laughable. The last time we reported an outage we were told that they were not aware of an outage in our area. Seriously, that was the reason we were reporting it. Clearly their customer service agents need to go on extensive training as they clearly don't know what they are doing. They say the fish rots from the head and this is evident at Vodacom. And I find the fact that the CEO won the Telecoms CEO of the Year Award even more laughable. They say he has navigated major hurdles such as load shedding, funny that considering we don't have signal before, during or after load shedding.

Our signal has been off since 3pm Saturday 25th February. And a friend who lives in the Kamberg Valley and haven't had vodacom signal since yesterday are told by a Vodacom employee that he will not be able to help them tomorrow, Monday, as there are many sites failing due to load shedding and there are not enough generators or batteries to go around. Now please tell me how that qualifies Vodacom to be a so called top network????

If I could put anything lower than 1 star I would because honestly Vodacom has become the worst provider. Even Telkom came in higher than Vodacom in a customer satisfaction survey. Now that is saying something.
