Pathetic network

I have 3 contracts with Vodacom 1 of which is a laptop. The laptop has been giving me issues for months despite being from 1vodacom to incredible connection and back and forth with no help was told to contact dell which I did and then couldn't be helped without being charged without the slip even despite sending them a copy of my contract agreement.

Nevertheless the 1year warranty has just about expired and I sit with a laptop which does.not work as the motherboard has crashed and costs the price of an actual new laptop to replace.

My question I has been posing to Vodacom at different branches and basically been told that there is nothing they can do about it. I have to.mow pay.for the remaining year on my contact but I have no laptop to use and Vodacom refusees.to take any responsibility just that I have to pay whether it's broken or not.

Is there no new laws with regards to the new consumer protection act?!??

And why can Vodacom not help me and expect me to pay for something which.cannot even be fixed.

I am disgusted at the service I have received as I hold 3contracts with them not just one.

Hopefully somebody can give some insight into this as I will he logging a formal complaint with the consumer act/ombudsman as I feel completely cheated I will glady pay for something that WORKS not for a broken laptop.
