Pathetic feedback and service from Vodacom Head Office

We are extremely unhappy with the service we have received from Vodacom. We had to do our own investigation and submitted all the relevent documentation to Vodacom but to date nobody has called us back regarding the *****elant transaction. The below affadavit was also given to Vodacom.

"On Tuesday, 20 September 2016 in the afternoon myself, wife & daughter was not able to make or receive calls from our cellphones. We trying to phone from the cellphones there was an automated voice saying the call could not be made due to the phone not being RICA and was removed from the network. My wife contacted 082 111 and they informed her that this was indeed the case and we had to visit a branch to RICA all the contracts on the account. As the Vodacom Woodlands branch was the only one that was open after 18:00 we went to them and was assisted by Jacques. Jacques made a photocopy of my husband’s ID as well as our City of Tshwane account and made the necessary amendments on the account. Jacques informed us that for us to use the phones can take anything from 5 minutes to 4 hours. We left the store and whilst driving back home my wife received the following smsses at 19:05 on her cellphone ( ********** ):
• We have received a request to process a SIM Swap on your line – if you suspect this might be ********** contact Vodacom Customer Care on 082 111
• Vodacom SP: Your upgrade request has been processed. Should you have any queries please call **********
• Vodacom SP: Your contract has been extended to 6/12/2018. Should you have any queries please call **********
• Your reference number is ********** 5
• Your upgrade to uChoose Flexi 350 will take place 20/9/2016

My wife immediately contacted 082 111 as we did not do an upgrade at Vodacom Woodlands on her cellphone we only RICA the contracts. We then received the following reference number S3-G6037-7W01S from Vodacom at 19:31 after logging the ********** upgrade transaction on our account.

Upon arriving at home we also saw the same messages on my son’s phone ( ********** ). The next day I contacted Vodacom Woodlands and spoke to the manager Danie who then also logged my son’s phone as a ********** upgrade of contract with the following reference number S3-G612L-LMF8T on the 21st of September.

Since the 21st of September we had no feedback from Vodacom regarding this *****elant transaction or from Danie the manager at the Vodacom Woodlands branch.

Our friends referred us to Danie, manager at the Vodacom branch in Atterbury Value Mart (Pretoria) who assisted us with some information as the manager at the Woodlands branch nor nobody at Vodacom Customer Services were able to assist us with information. My wife also contacted the Legal Department this morning on ********** but they only took information from my wife but was not able to give her any information.

The information we received from Danie at Vodacom Atterbury Value Mart are:
• ID copy with photo of someone else – refer to “********** ID copy”
• Contract on ********** that was a data contract that we used by us with a ****le have been upgraded on the 16th of September to a Flexi 200 (1GB) package with a S7 phone monthly premium of R589 in Witbank (below extract of our account for September)
• Contract on ********** my wife’s cellphone has been upgraded to a Flexi 350 contract with a Iphone 6SPlus (12g) with a monthly premium of R1 029 on the 20th of September in Centurion (below extract of our account for September)
• Contract on ********** my son’s cellphone has been upgraded to a Flexi 350 contract with a Iphone 6SPlus (12g) with a monthly premium of R1 029 on the 20th of September in Centurion (below extract of our account for September – he is currently on UChoose Flexi 150 plan)
• Contract on ********** this was our Apple Ipad contract with 3 GB data per month – this plan was also upgraded on the 16th of September in Witbank to a S7Edge phone on a Flexi 200 contract with a monthly premium of R689 (below extract of our account for September)As per the above information received the total upgrades to our contracts will be R3 336 per month. Kindly take note that if this amount is subtracted from our bank account on the 30th of September I will cancel the debit order and will only make the payment due as per the accounts received for September 2016. If the matter is not resolved before the next payment due on the 31st of October 2016 I will also cancel that debit order and settle my account with an EFT payment for the average debit order amounts due over the last 3 months."

I would like to thank Danie of Vodacom Atterbury Branch for the assistance he gave us to date and submitting the documents to Vodacom.

Our hands however is tied when trying to find out from Vodacome Customer Care 082 111 or the Legal Departement ********** what is happening as the keep us for longer than 45 minutes on the phone jumping from the one department to the other with no answers to give.

From our side we gave an affadavit, drove from Pretoria to Witbank to pick up copies of the 2 *****elant contracts that was taken out as the store was not willing to email this to us. Danie from Vodacom Atterbury was able to obtain the 2 *****elant contracts from the Vodacom Centurion store - all this was submitted with documents from ourselves to proof that the ID that was used is *****elant and we went to the police station to open a ***** case.

SOMEONE AT VODACOM PLEASE TELL ME WHAT YOU NEED MORE FROM US TO SORT OUT THIS CASE.

WE OBTAINED ALL THE RELEVANT DOCUMENTATION, DID OUR OWN INVESTIGASTION AND SUBMITTED EVERYTHING WE OBTAINED TO YOU.

HOW MUCH TIME DO YOU NEED TO GO THROUGH EVERYTHING WE SUBMITTED TO YOU?
