Pathetic customer service, DO NOT buy phones or contracts online!!

I ordered a black Friday special (24th of Nov 2017), which is more than 2 months ago. A P9 Lite and P10 Lite for R279 per month. While I was busy processing the order the quantity on site showed there was still stock, and the deal was not sold out (I also refreshed the page before I ordered), with next day delivery. An agent called me to complete my authentication process. Two months later I still did not receive my phones. After a lot of calls to online sales department they said that I must email ********** I mailed them a few times without any feedback. I also emailed customer care ********** and received an email stating that they will call me back within 24hours. They did not phone me back. After another a few days later, they phoned me. Believe it or not they phoned me telling me to phone the online sales department again because they can’t help me. I phoned them again and they said I must email ********** I did this as well and still no reply. Vodacom just passes the bucket and is not interested in helping their clients at all. The next day I phoned AGAIN this time the agent told me that my order was cancelled with no reason. Today I phoned AGAIN but this time my order was not cancelled any more, but still they did not give me a date of delivery. Dispirited and desperate for someone to help me I asked if they can perhaps help me with another device. Now hear this – they said they will give me a Huawei P9 lite for R229 per month. How does this make sense at all! Taking your clients for a fool. I have recorded all my calls and have also all my email available if anyone wants to see how Vodacom is handling their customers. In the two months I did not receive one notice that my delivery will be late. What I have learned from Vodacom: Never trust them that they will phone you back Never trust their systems showing that they have stock Never trust Vodacom to get stock in for more than 2 months Vodacom will not help you resolve your problem even though it is not my fault Their next day delivery is a **** They will just pass the problem to someone else that will do the same They will not compensate you for their fault.

I wish I could give a zero rating

Just to prove my point that you should not support Vodacom. They advertise a product. I ordered it while the system showed that there is still stock available. Waited two months and now they say they can "ALTER or WITHDRAW the deals". So beware of this ****. You might end up paying more for your product because they have the right to "alter" the deals. The Feedback that I got is as follow. Did not even bother to make a phone call. Dear Customer, we are sorry to hear of the circumstances under which your Hellopeter posting has reached us and we do apologise for the inconvenience caused. We thank you for bringing the matter to our attention. We regrettably advise as per the Terms and Conditions, the deals are valid while stocks last. Vodacom does reserve the right to alter or withdraw the deals advertised without notice. We do apologise for the inconvenience caused.
