Pathetic Customer Service

Modem contract has expired and trying to contact Vodacom to cancel the contract is an absolute waste of time. Over 2 hours of holding on and transferred from one person to another, at cost of the customer, is definitely pathetic service.

Various contact numbers, as listed on the Vodacom web site, were tried, with the same pathetic service.

Requesting to speak to a manager is also useless, they just put down the phone.

Asking them to call you back is also a waste of time. They simply do not call back!

It is all well and good to reply with a standard automated reply. This confirms the pathetic customer service. If Vodacom really were concerned about the pathetic customer service and intended rectifying a failing customer service nightmare, immediate personal (human) attention should be forth coming. Proper training with respect to Customer service and product knowledge should also be a very high priority.
