Pathetic customer service

I am completely dissatisfied with the service I have received from the Vodacom team. This is the first time I have encountered such disregard for a customer and find it completely unacceptable. On several occasions I have been the one to make contact in order to receive clarification about my device which is absolute poor communication service from the Vodacom team.

I booked my handset in on the 18th of March. It's been 52 days. On the 26th of April after querying about my device several times, I received a phone call from Terry where she advised me that I will be receiving a new device, but that they sent the wrong device that morning and will soon send the correct device. She continued to then guarantee that I expect my new device in the following week, either on Tuesday, the 30th of April or the 2nd of May. Which brought me somewhat comfort on this prolonged displeasing matter. To no surprise Terry failed to keep me updated afterwards. When following up on the matter on 2nd of May, I was told by Terry that the wrong device has been sent again.

Til this day no communication has been made about the new device. I have since went to the Vodacom Stellenbosch Branch on Monday, the 6th of May, where the staff was also unable to provide me with any clarity about when I'll receive my device.

I have paid the excess fee for repairs on the 28th of March already and also paid March and April's installment for my device without having the device and not to mention the continuous disregard for myself as a customer.

Absolut poor service from Vodacom.
