PATHETIC CUSTOMER SERVICE

Last week my phone was ported to MTN without my knowledge and approval. I call MTN who then reverse the porting, but my phone has no network coverage. Then was advised to call Vodacom for them to open my line, I called Rosebank and they told me to come in, asked to knock off early to sort it out, I was attended by a very impolite lady called Cindy, She told me they are off line, I asked her what to do, she said I must come back again. The question I asked was, why cant you call using the company phone she said they aren't allowed, she went on taking to me the way she suits just to make fun of me in front of people. Why did they tell me to come if they were off line? why waste my time, I was so desperate because I needed my phone to make some huge money transfer at a funeral undertaker for my aunt's funeral, I couldn't because an OTP had to be sms to my phone which I don't have access to. then I went crying back to MTN where the staff were more helpful that VODACOM which I have used since the introduction of cell phones. the gentlemen at MTN called VODACOM and they help me to reinstate my number, my question is, what's the real reason they didn't help me?I went back to VODACOM to look for the manager to relate my story, Cindy happened to be manager, she was apparently out for lunch after 17H00.
