Pathetic and appalling service!!!
I was held at gunpoint and my iPhone11 was taken two weeks ago and I'm insured under the Vodacom insurance. My claim was approved and they assured me that I'd get my new phone within 48 hours. For two weeks now, I've been calling them and travelling to several Vodacom stores to find the iPhone only to be told that it's discontinued and they don't have it in their stores. The insurance is showing no interest in helping me find a solution other than telling me to pay for the difference to get an iPhone 13 we did not budget for and was not made aware of what happens should the phone insured be discontinued in vodacom stores ! They refuse to pay me out so I can get the device at iStore where it is currently still available and have the audacity to tell me to get an android just because their outlets cannot replace my phone. Why then insure a phone that they cannot replace? But it's nice when they're deducting money out of my account for a service they fail to provide. Furthermore after my traumatic experience they're expecting ME to call THEIR warehouses to find out if the phone is there. Which is not my job as a paying customer who was promised a service that they cannot and refuse to carry through! I am utterly appalled by their service as well. I had to wait for over an hour for my call to even be attended to then an *********** consultant named Lerato Montsho still refuses to give me reasons as to why they cannot pay me out to go buy the phone where it is currently available. Yet it's an insurance and they take my money with the promise to replace it when ******. Absolutely ridiculous! I am stressed by the trauma of firstly being held at gunpoint and now Vodacom is elevating my depression by making things even more difficult for me. Please can this be resolved before I commit suicide under the name of Vodacom Insurance.
