Pathethic Service and false promises (LIES) from Vodacom

My name is Morgan, I had a contract with Vodacom which was due for an upgrade, which I ended up cancelling it completely because of their incompetence and false promises from their Retention department agents (i.e. Felicia and K****tso).

On the 28 March of 2018, I phoned Vodacom cancellation department to cancel my contract, and during the call I ended up at the Retentions department and spoke to a lady by the name of Felicia Mashamba and she promised me a good deal (i.e. Samsung J7 Pro with 2G data and R120 airtime for R249). And I very was happy with the deal and told her the phone was going to be a present for my daughter who was celebrating her birthday on the 31 March 2018 and she told me due to the public holidays I would be receiving the phone on the 3rd April 2018. I was happy with the delay.

I only received the phone from Ram couriers on the 4th April and to my surprise when I opened the box, they have sent me a J5 Pro instead. I was furious and I phoned Vodacom back and told them that is not the phone I wanted and they told me, they'll have to listen to a recording and get back to me and let me know the outcome, and I have been waiting since. The phone has been subsequently returned to them also.

I have been phoning every day since last week Thursday and enquiring and talking to different agents and nothing concrete seems to be happening from Vodacom. The latest agent I spoke to on the 09 April was Kgomotso, she also promised to process a new upgrade for me and send me confirmation via email and I am still waiting for. Today decided I had enough and asked them please cancel my contract and I don't want to hear any ...from Vodacom.

All I can say is that Vodacom service is very pathetic and they make false promises to keep you from cancelling your contract.

Very Upset
