Passing the buck

I bought a Dell laptop at Vodacom Shelly Centre in March 2016.The first debit order for this laptop went off on 15 March 2016. On 21 May 2016 I had to return the laptop for repairs. On the 21 May 2016 I sent the laptop to Vodacom for warranty repairs because the USB port was broken. I had to detach the modem from the USB port and it broke. I was then informed on the 13/08/2016 that I have to pay for the repairs and for the courier charges since this was my own doing.

How can this be my fault?

The laptop was a reject and bad quality, I had to remove the modem and it just broke. This was not not done forcefully,I was just removing it the way I usually remove all other USBs from other ports.

This one DELL laptop USB port had to break, why? It is was a reject and it was then sold to me. I am so disappointed because I am paying for something I do not utilize and that is of poor quality.

I will fight for my right as consumer until I find a breakthrough...I will not pay for a bad quality Dell laptop.I refuse to be *****ed because right now I am paying for nothing. It has been hardly 3-4 months the unit has been on my possession. No I refuse to be victimized.

Now it is December and the laptop is still with Dell and Vodacom has not given me any update...and if I call their landline it rings and then takes me to the full voice mail. It has been six months and I am still paying for my contract without the laptop. What do I do?
