Paid up account still active on my credit report.

I have has contract with vodacom for over five years. The last contract i had with expired in 2018 and decided against upgrading it. I paid off the account and vodacom sent me a paid up letter. To my surprise, the account still shows active in my credit report and i have contact transunion several times and the account will disappear and comes again. Transunion say vodacom must close the account from their sides as transunion has no powere to decided which account to close or open. Please vodacom remove you account from my credit report. i have no active contract with vodacom.
