I've had blackberry for quite a long time (because of the benifits of BIS) and the last time I upgraded (in March it would be about n year ago) I had to change to abother phone as I was told by vodacom that BIS would no longer be available on new contracts if I upgrade. We did the whole upgrading process and they told me that my whole account will be R520 each month and that I get R500 airtime wich sounded great! They also said that they wil take R149 of that R500 airtime and log it as data en the difference will then be airtime. I remeber asking them if that wil be on my final bill, NOextra hidden charges and the consultant confirmed thats correct. Then each month I received a bill of MORE than R700! I knew that I had to pay still little bit for my old contract wich only expired a month or two months later. I also have two tablets on my account wich each cost R45. Then after these two months I still got that bill and I phoned Vodacom and asked why my bill is so high. They told me that it is still the old contract and it will only end a month later.... March it would be a year later and my bill is STILL MORE than R700!!! I phoned VODACOM today and asked them the reason for my bill. They said I've been paying for BIS all the time!!!! I do not even have blackberry any more!!!! All they tell me is SORRY!!! I very upset. If they told me this when I phoned the forst time I could have told them to stop the subscription of BIS wich they KNOW I cannot even use!!! All of a sudden when I'm not at my home wi -fi, my phone runs out of airtime within four days or so and I almost never phone!!! Then I find out they never registered me for the R149 data from my R500 airtime wich was communicate d to me from the start and I've been using all my data from my airtime (wich I was told is much more expensive). We have the most expensive data networks in AFRICA that we already struggle to afford and then things like this happen and to VODACOM the customer is always wrong or at best you get a SORRY... VERRY UNHAPPY!!!!
