Overall bad repair service experience
My Sony Xperia Z3 has a cracked screen so I took it to the Vodacom shop in Secunda Mall on 16 February 2015 to be repaired. I don't have Vodacom insurance so I requested a quote to for my own insurance. On 26 February I finally received a quote via sms (obviously not suitable for my insurance). After multiple calls I finally received an emailed quote on 27 February.

I wanted to query the amount on the quote so I contacted *** twice and both times was put through to the Sony repair centre using a number that did not exist. So I called the Sony's call centre myself and they gave me a correct number. Sony repairs gave me a satisfactory explanation on the amount being charged. I then got approval from my insurance and so paid for and accepted the quote on 5 March. Then I heard nothing, so today (17 March) I called *** and was told that the repair had not started yet.

So my phone has been with Vodacom for over a month and the repair has yet to start. I have made over 20 calls and spent in excess of 40 minutes on the phone. Vodacom's processes have failed dismally and their \customer satisfaction surveys"given after any interaction in no way allows this to be captured!!"""
