Over chargers on-going

02nd September 2016

Firstly I will start with the call that I made last week regarding extra charges on my Vodacom account.
I called in and spoke to a guy named Jaco Von Metzinger, who I advised that I did call into the Vodacom account department but did not get service with regards to my account deductions. I was then told by Jaco that he would call me later that day to give me feedback regarding the account.

I waited till approximately 04h00 that afternoon and then called again because Jaco had not called me by that time. The switch board operator advised that Jaco could not assist (reasons unbeknown) and then put me through to Riael Salomon. He assisted me and advised that he would put through the credit note immediately. To date this this has not been done.

05th September 2016

I called on Monday afternoon to get some sort of feedback. Upon doing so, I was advised by the switchboard that Salomon was not in. I again asked to speak to Jaco, they advised that he was unable to take my call. In addition they advised that Salomon was off sick. No one assisted or provided me with any feedback.

06th September 2016

I called in around 03h00 in the afternoon, I spoke with Lerato Mogwaneng. I explained the entire situation her and the line went dead. There was no call back from Lerato or any other form of communication from Vodacom. I continued to try calling Vodacom but I was unsuccessful in getting through.

At this point one can only imagine my frustration and disappointment with Vodacom. I have been a loyal customer for the past approximately ten years. I currently have three contracts with Vodacom.

I was left with no other option but to call the Vodacom Head Office and requested to be put through to the CEO office, which they duly did after waiting for approximately ten minutes. I spoke with Edlin Naidoo and once again explained the situation, she then advised that Salomon was still off sick, she further advised that Jaco will no longer be handling the query and she would appoint another consultant to deal with my case.

Once again the line cut and we were disconnected. No one returned my call. I then called the Head Office once again to put me through to the CEO Offices. Finally I did get through and spoke to Edlin once again, I asked her why did they not contact me back has the line went dead.(no answer)I then explained to her that been a Customer Liaison Officer she should have returned the customer call still no response, she then rep**** and said that she is at the switch board for then day and she will then get some once else to assist me. I then spoke to Zanele who then assisted me with my account query. Still awaiting for the refund to be done. Zanele will contact me in the morning regarding the matter.

What I really don’t understand is that why the KZN Liaison Officer that I did get through to, the line dropped when we were on the phone and he called me back, Zanele and myself had the same issues and she contacted me back, but the others don’t have any reason to why they did not return my call.
I would like for you to put yourself in my shoes and see how I have been push around this office. I don’t think is fair for a customer to be treated like this and to think that this is coming from the top of the chain the CEO offices. I am so FURSTRATED with the service that I received from Vodacom and feel like I am just another number to them and not a client. How would you feel if this happened to you?

I would like to hear from you regarding this matter. I would also like to be compensated for this matter has the above matter was a system issues on Vodacom side once again. How does a huge company like Vodacom not pick up since March 2016 that a client is been over charged? Not even the accounts department picked this up……I call in every month to make my payment and to confirm the amount that I need to pay into Vodacom but even then no one has picked this up…. How many other clients in this happening to? Am I the only client that Vodacom treats like? This is really time consuming and makes a person really irate and frustrated.

Please treat this matter of Very High Importance!!!!!!!!

This was a query that then sorted out after a week of waiting.

What I am not happy with is that is has happened to me once again.

I am not happy with Vodacom and there systems.

Why is this always happening to me?

When will this be sorted out? Every month I am been over charged……and once again no one has picked this up from Vodacom side.

I will be taking this up….. I would like to request a call from the CEO of the company, to understand what I have been through.

I will like to ask him how would he feel that if a service provider kept on charging him more money than he should be paying how would he feel?

And still to put the cherry on the top, no one at Vodacom has picked this up once again………

One does not have a good taste in one’s mouth if this keeps on happening, you confirmed that this was sorted out and that this will not happen again and now once again I am the one who’s is keep on sending emails and calling in, this is time consuming and this affects me the client once again.

Getting a call or email or even giving me feedback is not good enough anymore, due to the fact that is this still happing…..how do I take anyone’s word from there that will not happen again? Please get your CEO to give me a call.

Now the next month Vodacom still charges me extra and they still dont know why i am been charged for this,.
Everytime you want an answer they blame it on the system. I will really like for the CEO to see and undertsnad what we has customers go through. He should put him self in my shoes and see if he will put up with this service from his provider.

Will like to request a call from the CEO has this matter is still on going.......
