over charged for contract

In the year 2014 August, I took a 24 months contract with Vodacom for 2 Samsung tab 4s. As per the contract terms and conditions the contract should have ended in the month of August 2016 however after that I went to Vodacom store to cancel the debit order but I was told that I need to contact a customer care number of which I gave to my daughter and she cancelled it. A couple of Months later Vodacom kept sending us smses and calling us advising that we still owed them. everytime we tried to cancel the debit order we were given the run around and Vodacom continued deducting funds off my bank account. Now they have cancelled my phone services because we owe another R500 of which we dont. This si the worst possible service that Vodacom has ever had to offer me and my family. I do not undertsand why i should over pay the contract which as meant to end last year August as per the contract terms.
