Over charge after contract extension.
I was contacted by Vodacom to upgrade my data contract on 29 July 2020. Which I did. The upgrade was just an extension of my contract for another 24 months. Nothing else. They charged me an upgrade fee of R150, which apparently is not valid for an over-the-phone upgrade. I queried it and even though the customer service agent assured me that I should not be paying the R150 and escalated the matter, nothing happened.
When I received my bill there was a handset fee on the bill. My current device was paid off in October 2018 and I have not received a new device, not with the previous "upgrade" nor with the "upgrade" done on 29 July 2020. I have contacted Customer care on numerous occasions and they have logged numerous escalations on my behalf. But to no avail. The handset fee remains on my account. Here are some of the query numbers that were logged. *** *** *** ***
