Over billing on a sim card that is not in use

My issues with Vodacom started a few months ago. My normal monthly bill on a data package I hold with Vodacom was around R330. At the end of April I received an inflated bill from the usual of around R900 which was paid by my monthly debit order. The end of May a debit of R5 300 came off my bank account at which point I requested my bank to reverse Vodacom's debit order as I only found out about the amount when the debit order came through.

Following that month I called the Vodacom call centre several times and experienced a lot of frustration as the call centre guys couldn't get my details when I gave them my credentials. After numerous calls of being put through different departments following a 30 minute phone call I asked that my itemised billing be sent to me via pdf as I couldn’t open the dropbox statement, I never received this. The call centre requested the sim card number and I took the sim card out of the device, since this date my sim card is sitting in my car. Despite my sim card not being the device the latest On Friday bill I have received was for R1.1k for an account that has been used the whole month. On the 08th July I went into the shop at Clearwater and even there I didn’t receive adequate service as the guy at the shop (who was helpful) was not getting the information from the different call centres he called.

My husband went to the Vodaworld on the 12th of July 2016 to go follow up at the customer care centre. The agent who assisted him couldn’t find any data on the system and his supervisors system about my case he eventually after an hour and numerous phone calls he tracked down my account. He informed my husband that he will log a service query to understand the billing concerns. The agent said we would get a sms for the service query with an hour but this was not received. My concern is that I am not getting clarity from Vodacom about the billing and this could impact my credit record adversely.
