OUTRIGHT USELESS & ILLEGITIMATE MONTHLY CHARGES
At the end of 2017, my two Vodacom WiFi packages were due for renewal.
In November 2017, I asked Vodacom to cancel the one WiFi package and change the second WiFi package to their Black Friday special WiFi package.
Vodacom then confirmed and reassured me several times that the one WiFi package is cancelled and the second WiFi package has been changed. HOWEVER, Vodacom still sent me a notice of my WiFi usage on both those old packages with the old details. I STILL get these WEEKLY notices, showing both these old packages are still active.
As soon Vodacom "supposedly" cancelled the one WiFi package and changed the other WiFi package, both my Vodacom WiFi connections stopped working - the exact same day - and they still do not work.
Since 1 December 2017, I had been in-store and on the phone with Vodacom on an almost daily basis being ping-ponged from consultant to consultant giving me different answers. One consultant will confirm and reassure me several times the one account is cancelled and the other package is changed. Then I get passed to the next consultant and they tell me the one account is NOT cancelled and the other package is still the old one. This was REPEATED feedback from Vodacom staff in-store as well as on the phone. But in addition to this, the Black Friday Special package was loaded on my account as well, despite the changes requested.
When I go to Vodacom in-store, they tell me to phone Vodacom. When I phone Vodacom, Vodacom tells me to go in-store Vodacom. REPEATEDLY without fail, I get told this EACH TIME.
I have been in-store and on the phone with Vodacom almost every day and every week since, with no success and now it's already February 2018.
I have been told NUMEROUS times as well that my cancellations complaint has been escalated and will be attended to... only to be outright ignored and repeatedly billed.
In addition to this issue, Vodacom continues to bill my account for BOTH these old packages, AS WELL AS the new Black Friday Special package. So I have been paying for THREE WiFi packages. TWO of these packages belong to the same phone number as well.
Despite the COUNTLESS attempts in-store and phone calls, Vodacom outright does not attend to this issue - even despite the reassurance that it will be sorted. The only thing Vodacom diligently attends to is debiting my account for illegitimate WiFi packages.
