Outrageous data costs

I am a Vodacom contract user for the last 11 years. During the month of June Vodacom charged me R1200 for 1GB of data. I think this is disgusting as i could have bought 3GB for R299 from Vodacom. Vodacom's argument is that I signed a contract but with tariffs this high i should have been informed when purchasing my contract. I don't understand that when purchasing a bundle they can charge 10c/ MB but R2/MB outside a bundle. I think its disgraceful as i feel Vodacom is taking advantage of the public and forcing them to buy bundles in order to line there pockets causing the consumer suffer unreasonable costs. I have approached Vodacom who were very unwilling to asset me with this matter as i am a single mother and cannot afford R1200 extra. I will be moving my contract to MTN as their out of bundle rate is 38c per MB (R1,62 cheaper than Vodacom) and will be urging my family and friends to do the same. <br> <br> <br> <br> <br>
