Out of stock after online order

I app**** for an upgrade on my contract on 23 April. I app**** for the Sony Xperia L1 and the PS4. I received a phone call the next day to say the phone is on backorder. After receiving no further feedback I followed up a week later, only to be told that the phone was now in stock but the PS4 was now out of stock. I followed up again last week and received the same story. I then contacted the ********** and was contacted by Reuben who told me that he had contacted the warehouse and that the stock should arrive this week. He said that I should send him a mail again this week to get an update. I received a mail back from Desmond this morning saying that the L1 and the PS4 is awaiting delivery.

I am at my wits end. A company who spends as much money at a supplier as you do should be able to get an ETA for delivery. Also why do you have items on your website if there is no stock. PLease don't give me the who story of "while stocks last" as this is an online purchase and you could have easily removed the deal from your website. I ordered this so that I could give it to my son for his birthday and now it seems that I wont have it.

I feel it is Vodacom's responsibility to make sure they honour their deals. I am very frustrated and I am not even sure if complaining here will help as the social.media person told me that is the last resort for me. Please can someone assist?
