Out of bundle data usage - considered exploitative behaviour on the part of the supplier.
How do I stop Vodacom using out of bundle data ex my air time without my permission please. Surely this is *******. What is the solution and please do not expect the customer to track data usage via another app on a daily basis. I simply want you to switch this off!

02 Feb 2019, 23:21So Vodacom's reply is an autocratic one blatantly stating that no such facility is available and that the customer needs to ensure that they always have a positive data balance. I therefore have to download an app in order that the customer regularly review same. It is of interest to note that given the publicity since, MTN, Cell C and Telkom have in fact provided their customers such a facility, but no, Vodacom have not seen fit to do so. While this may not seem much in the bigger picture, please be advised that this impersonal, autocratic reply is unacceptable and given my contract renewal due in October, this customer of long standing with Vodacom will undoubtedly be porting to a different network. Vodacom needs to work on their communication s****s and consideration should be given to customer needs by discontinuing this practice, thereby avoiding such seemingly exploitative practices.
