Out of bundle data

Hi Vodacom

Here I am, once again lodging yet another complaint with you guys. It’s almost like a game between us, you catching my eyes across the counter, smiling suggestively, and then with a shy giggle averting your gaze with a blush. Except it's not a game. And it's not free. It's my time. And when you catch my eyes, it's because I’ve physically clawed them out of my face with my bare hands due to the immeasurable frustration you are causing me month. After. Month. But fret not, for this is only the 3rd month in a row! So, let me tame the drama-tiger and get to the point, quick-like.

I've just received an SMS from your esteemed selves, informing me that I've been charged to the tune of R9.00 for out of bundle rates (via sms saved with a timestamp), and yet upon dialling *111#, selecting detailed balances, it informs me (via sms - saved with a timestamp) I have 5MB of data remaining. Further, the Vodacom APP installed on my phone, shows me exactly the same message. (screen shot taken). (By the way, both services/apps you offer) - I feel I may be playing it fast and loose with your Divine temper here, but I should mention: (this isn't the first time you've done this to me.) Oh Divine Vodacom, forgive my boldness!

I know it’s not my place to second guess you, and I once more beg your forgiveness for this audacious and impudent scallywag. I shall now go and slaughter a wild beast in sacrifice to you, to atone for my belligerent and contemptuous character that sought to question you! I shall as we mere mortals are prone to, hold out hope to receive an answer from you.

In Vodacom I pray,

-Siya

A Frustrated, belligerent and contemptous Customer

Hail the Holy Disciple at the Vodacom Consumer Website Team, Hail! HAIL! Hallelujah!

Receiving your response, was akin to hearing the Angelic and heavenly call from the skies above. My hairs stood on end, as I excitedly awaited the holy verse from you, basking me in your glorious and sanctified rejoinder. Your words fell upon me like heavenly tears, each syllable gently caressing against my *****ed soul, illuminating the hallowed path to the elucidated course. Upon your words, I marvelled at the sheer grandeur, beauty and saintly comfort the words "a consultant will make contact". Divine!! Just Divine!!!! Just reading those words, left me feeling a sense of personal enlightment, as though you as the Divine, reached within the vast depths of my soul and with a sacred, yet practiced flick of your merciful wrist, cast the demonic expectation of receiving services I paid for, right from my evil and Presumptuous idol that is my arrogance.

I am conscious of the evil, that is my "Query". The audacity of this beast, this query, this shameless satanic demon to infiltrate yours, the vast hollows of your intimate and void silent words. I thank you, for bestowing upon me, the meaningless and vacant promises of your servant, the Angelic Vodacom Consumer Website Team. Their responses are objectively void, in their brevity.

I shall await with bated breath, the response from this heavenly Consultant, they who will entertain my evil and arrogant Query with the fury and righteousness of the Glorious Service of The Vodacom!!

In Vodacom I pray,

-Siya

Dear Automated-Response-System-that-makes-me-want-to-peel-my-eye-lids-back-yank-out-my-eyeball-reach-through-the-eye-socket-and-stick-my-finger-into-my-grey-matter-in the vain hope I can numb myself to-the-levels-of-incompetence-you've-displayed-that-puts-government-departments-to-absolute-shame

I have no words. Inconvenience? Inconvenience???? Really?

So lets see..You guys allow someone to upgrade my cellphone contract without so much as a how-do-you-do security check on your side (no otp, no comparing the id produced to the id u had on file, no checking with the credit insitutions).

I bring this to your attention and then after an "investigation" you agree my contract was **********ly upgraded. You then promise to return me back to my original contract at no cost to myself, back to the state i had it in. Then you don't. Then I open ANOTHER service request, and then you change the contract. But then you change it to some plan I've never been on. Then I log another service request to correct this. Only took a couple more weeks.

Then i discover via your website that you've still got the handset given to the ********* appearing against my name. Then I log another service request with you, highlighting that the phone is still appearing under my name. As usual, you provide the same flurry of meaningless contritions on your part and make the worthless promises you are prone to making. I, because I consider myself something a little more than halfwit, don't hold my breath.

Imagine my absolute surprise (not) when I receive my invoice STILL showing said handset. So AGAIN I log ANOTHER service request, to get this corrected. And you call this "inconvenience". All due respect, you guys are quite ****** cheeky with your ****py responses.

And then, to top it off, y/day you charge me out of bundle, whilst I still have bundles. If you want me to cancel al my contracts with you, it's simply easier to say "Guy, we don't want your business any longer. How about you **** off and find another provider." That way you save not just my time, but your time also. But I'm wondering whether your not doing that, is simply another expression of your incompetence? Or...I dunno..perhaps you're conducting an experiment or analysis as to how much you can mess with a client before they decide to move/institute action against you.

Inconvenience! Wow..inconvenience! Seriously, this is not an inconvenience. This is a deliberate ***** up on your part, to cause me as much difficulty, stress and you are purposefully trying to antagonise me. Ok, then let's play this game.

Oh, and further to this, you have NOT returned the free minutes I had accumulated over YEARS on my contract that was **********ly upgraded. One guess what I had to do(again), to try and resolve this? (Ok, for you I'll give you 11 guesses)
