"Out of Box Failure" ???

I recently (Saturday) took out a brand new contract after fighting for 4 months to try and get a new phone. 5 days later my back camera on my new iPhone stopped working. I am still within my "7 days" but because I am not close to the store I bought this phone from I will be losing out on that OBF time period. I will not have the time to give my new phone in for repairs since I will be going back to work next Tuesday (work is in the Sabi Sand Reserve).

I have called everyone I can and all I get is that they cannot help me. Why??? What is the benefit of taking out a brand new contract if I cannot benefit from OBF if the problem was not mine to start off with.

I work 2 hours away from the closest Vodacom shop. Please give me more than just a sorry, I can't help you.

I will be in Cape Town until Tuesday morning then I go back to work.
