Out in the Cold: Disappointing Service and Treatment

I have been a Vodacom Subscriber for close to 8 years now and have never missed payments. I recently requested an upgrade and while i was at it i opened a new contract to get my wife a new phone for Christmas as she has an existing account on my name and her contract was renewed a year or two ago but Sim Only and when I went to the store we are told she couldn't get a new handset. Mind boggling as they stand to make more money however be that as it may they tell me on numerous times that i am a VIP client and they appreciate me so i took out a new contract for my wife to get a phone and the handset delivered to my office via RAM couriers no problem. My upgrade however, for close to two weeks now i have been back and forth, being made promise after promise and between Vodacom and RAM the one just blames the other. The problem is i requested the phone to be delivered to my office address as there is nobody at home during office hours which i was assured would be done at the end of last week, I then get a notification on Monday 30/12/2019 saying the parcel is out for delivery to my home address i then call RAM and they say Vodacom had given them my home address and I have to call them to change it which i subsequently did and was assured that it is updated. Tuesday rolls around the courier calls me and asks if I am at home as he wants to deliver. A third call to RAM to enquire as I was told everything was arranged to be delivered to my office, they then spun the same story saying Vodacom have to issue notification which obviously wasn't done as they still went to my house. A lady from RAM called and said she would help me and took down my office address and assured me twice that all is fine i can expect the phone today 02/01/2020 I then thanked her and hung up. Today came and i get a notification saying the parcel is on route to my house AGAIN! I then make a fourth call to RAM and they assured me that my business address is loaded and i can indeed expect the phone as scheduled. I then get a call from the driver asking if I am at home as he is at the gate at my house. I then make a fifth call and they gave me the same speech about Vodacom having to issue notification. i then make a sixth call to Vodacom and they tell me the business address is loaded but no notification was sent and had to repeat myself numerous times just confirm the correct address all this after being told that all is sorted and well. I am really disappointed with their conduct and actually this will be the last time a deal with Vodacom going forward and once my contracts come to an end i will certainly take my business elsewhere. They were happy to sign me up to new contract and upgrade me yet once i put pen to paper the shut me out

I have just been in contact with your after sales call center and again the home address is given as delivery address only to Find that Vodacom had not sent RAM notification to change address following three assurances this week that it is done. For some reason I had given you the benefit of the doubt but to my detriment. If I do not receive my delivery today please cancel the order and everything I have with Vodacom i will be happy to pay any penalties to be rid of you!
