Open and recorded ***** processed

Wow, this is next level... Vodacom phones me from a call centre and informs me as a loyal customer of 10 years, that my wife and I qualify to have our contracts doubled for the grand total of R10 each. Of course I remind the consultant that I never buy over the telephone, but am intrigued by the generosity of the offer. She then assures me that it's legit, and that it's in order to prevent us from leaving. Anyway, not true to my word, and trusting her at hers, I go ahead and confirm that I will accept Vodacom's very generous offer. Ha-Ha-Ha... because shortly thereafter I receive the associated full price quotation... Which I duly inform Vodacom of the ***** committed by there sales consultant, and am assured that the transaction will be investigated and stopped. Really? Because the full invoice has just gone through on my account! Like I said... Wow! How ironic that this is how Vodacom retains its loyal customers... A staff member commits open and recorded ***** via the call centre, it is investigated as per my request and their word, but the ********** sale is processed regardless. #nowords
