ONT faulty after lighning strike
I can't believe that we still haven't had a solution to our internet problems. Our ONT box was hit by lightning almost a month ago and we still haven't been given a replacement. I don't understand why its so difficult. We have done fault finding with no less than 3 people on the phone, and also a technician came out and confirmed that is is indeed the ONT box, but yet we still haven't had it replaced.

05 Dec 2024, 16:38Finally, our issue has been resolved. Your technicians (both from Vodacom and Vumatel) were fantastic, but I'm still shocked at how long it took to get this fixed. The coordination and communication were atrocious.
Anyway, everything is working now, and I am extremely grateful to the people who worked hard to get it working.
