Only take what is yours

In March 2020 Vodacom did a door-to-door marketing for Fibre to home sign up. As it was lockdown I signed up and received the interim LTE which was paid via debit order each month. By November 2020 the Fibre infrastructure was completed. My two signed up respective in November and December was connected to Fibre before 15 December 2020. I started following up as I was still on the LTE and the vendor contacted me advised that the Fibre connection would take place on 24 February 2021. Yes that rights one year later. Each month vodacom debited my account for the 100GB LTE interim service

On 11 April I received a condensed bill of R6,861.93 which included an amount of R 6,553.26 for Fibre. When I checked the detail it was for back billing of the Fibre service as from March 2020.

I called the *** on 8 April to dispute this and spoke to Sibongile who assured me that although the billing system was down she would escalate to her supervisor and loop me in on the email. Still waiting for the looped in email. I called on 13 April spoke to Siphosethu , Ziyanda on 14 and Themba on 15, all assuring me that they would call be back as soon as the billing system was online...I'm still waiting. On 18 April I called again and finally received a reference number SR*** and my query was escalated. Today I called again as no one called to acknowledge that they addressing my query or that it would be fixed before 26 April. I spoke to Shannon who apologized and stated that she is unable to provide me with an additional ref number and she couldn't commit to whether it would be fixed before 26 April 2020 - the monthly deduction date. Vodacom so here is the potential impact of your slovenly work - that erroneous additional R 6,553.26 that you will be debiting will cost me non payments penalties and additional bank service fees at my cost In addition my monthly food and petrol bill has now a negative as one of your staff decided to not apply the 4 eyes principle. I want this fixed and not a voucher or free airtime or data...Make me believe that your marketing are real that the HD YouTube videos aren't all staged and that your printed media with it catchy phrases have meaning...

So the invoice was amended however when I check my email I don't see an updated invoice That would help and puts one's mind at ease....What is up with you Vodacom to me right now this is lip service as their no proof and it doesn't help my state of mind...Are you deliberately trying to antagonize upset clients...Moreover, how will you compensate for the 10 days of anxiety and discomfort you caused me? Get Your **** together, this is a lacklustre performance of another level
