Only 1 out of 2 months missed payments were removed, please fix this mess. I've had it with you guys.
Firstly let me mention that the following matter has been an ongoing issue since April of this year.
So in order to understand my dilemma, I should probably start at the beginning. My current contract with vodacom was somehow under someone else's name and details which I found out in April. After doing the necessary work and running around to fix this issue (which was not my fault and entirely Vodacom's fault), I was assured that the issue was sorted and so I did a manual payment that month, only to later discover, my payment was once again made to someone else's account. Once again, not my fault.
Long story short, a transfer was done and the accounts department asked that I do a manual payment in-store for May. Which I did at their request. After all that, the initial issue was sorted but only now to be left with a brand new problem which is once again, not my fault.
The problem I have now is that my credit record has a status of "MISSED PAYMENTs" and as a result of this, my credit score has dropped. So I'm sure we both know how this happened and don't need a genius to figure it out but just incase you have trouble, let me explain...
So my provider (Vodacom) considered my payment overdue and asked for a "late payment marker" to be added to my credit report. At this point I am ****ed off and highly irate as both these problems were not caused by me and is in all its entirety Vodacom's fault but yet when I approached them to sort this issue out for me and have my MISSED PAYMENT status removed, they had the audacity to say there is nothing they can do. Is it not Vodacom who caused my MISSED PAYMENT status in the first place with their mixed customer details and payments. None of these issues has been been because of any fault on my side.
The same way Vodacom notified the Credit Bureau of late payments and had my name marked is the same way they should be helping me get rid of this status. I expect an answer to my problem with a correction ASAP as I'm sure you can imagine how this can badly impact any future plans I may have due to a bad credit score.
UPDATE: Experian shows that the missed payment for April was removed but what about May? The month your accounts department advised me to make payment manually in store and it was payed on the same day the debit order was supposed to go off. Where your accounts department acknowledged they first need to fix the mess they caused before they do a debit order again or else I would've payed much more than what I normally do as the account was in arrears.
Fix this mess for May month please.
