Online Upgrade gone wrong!

<p>I used Vodacom online do an upgrade. The deals available for my contract was shown , I picked one that obviously showed "available" and "in stock". After completing the process I received the confirmations email that the upgrade was successful and also instruction on how I could track the delivery via RAM couriers. </p> <p>After 5 days I contacted Vodacom to enquire , but was informed that there were no upgrade for that number in the system , but that I should ********** to ask for an explanation.First mistake , now communication with me. I then amailed them and the first response I got was "Kindly be advised Vodacom has experienced a technical issue, kindly contact ********** 4 for assistance with your upgrade." I rep**** again asking for an explanation on why they accepted a deal , but now blaming a technical issue for holding to their commitment. I suspect they later found out that they were out of stock. All I want is for them to honour the contract as they accepted it. If they didn’t have stock , why did they advertise it on the site. </p> <p>The second response was as follows: "Kindly be advised we do not have that device or deal available".</p> <p>Which is it now, a technical issue or a stock issue?</p> <p>Won't ever use Vodacom Direct again to upgrade!!!</p>
