Online sales ****
Please be cautious about upgrading with the online sales department, it’s all a ****, rather go into store if you want a device. The new iPhone 12 is the latest in the Vodacom online sales **** perpetrated by the genius management to draw you into upgrading or applying for new contracts with no intention of actually supplying the device, so while you all signed up and approved and well on your way to being charged for the services you the customer are sitting without the device which you paying for - hahaha what a brilliant skeem. So how it works is exactly how their sales associate online by the name Abigail who has seem lessly executed Vodacoms wonderful ****, She signed me up on an upgrade with which she explicitly promised me several time and time again that stock was available (the recording will prove this) then she asks what package you want to take out also if you want any other accessories to which I added some iPods all the while telling me that stock is available and I will receive the phone within three days, she then proceeds to go through the whole process of reiterating the deal and extras to explaining the terms and conditions to which you agree and are now bind in a 24month contract. Once all is complete and you ready to carry on with life you then get an sms saying there’s no stock and your order is on “back order” meanwhile your contract has started it’s course. So I called in and spoke to two separate online sales staff one of which was Amanda and she said without hesitation that “there’s no stock of the phone iPhone 12 Pro Max we didn’t even receive stock in, that agent should of not signed you up with the promise of stock availability”
It’s brilliant, a perfect way to sign you up to a cellphone contract without the actual PHONE, I must say I’m pretty sharp and can smell a rat a mile away but this is good.
I’m glad that Google works so well to help find information by typing in key words so I know that this will reach a bunch of people and maybe save one or two people out of being ****med out of their hard earned money.
Now the second part of my review will be posted soon on how I had to struggled to cancel my contract because I know they won’t make it easy to cancel as that’s part of another yet elaborate ****.
Stay safe good people Remember you reap what you sow
