Online Purchase a Disaster

I purchased a new device online (device only) on 9 Jan and paid with my credit card. Within seconds the amount showed on my credit card shortly after I received a mail from Vodacom with my order number.

Now the trouble starts. The order does not show the colour of the phone. When I called them on the number supp**** in the order ( ********** 4 ) and was told they cannot give me any details, nothing. Not a delivery date, not a status of the order, not the colour of the phone, nothing. I was told to call another department. I eventually ended up calling 082111, ********** , ********** 000, ********** , ********** 4. No one at any of these numbers could give me any answer. I even mailed Vodacom but received no reply. The common theme is that it is not an upgrade, so speak to the new lines department. The new lines says it is online. The online says it is not a contract, and so it is a neverending circle. I spoke to anybody at Vodacom in an effort to get any answers. They cannot comprehend that it is a device only purchase. I tried explaining to everyone over and over again that it is a device only.

How on earth is this possible. No one in Vodacom can give me any information on this. I am send from pillar to post with no results. A week later and I have no information and do not have an idea where to get a answer, yet Vodacom has thousands of rand from me. Vodacom is absolutely clueless.

I am fed up with this. Anybody that can help me please?

I am waiting Vodacom..........In due course in your terms means when I am in my grave. You better come up with some answers. What must I do to get some answers? You cannot keep ignoring me. How difficult is it to follow up on an order that should have been delivered by 10 Jan. You allready have my money. You just keep promising. If you think I am just going to sit back and watch how you ***** my money you are mistaken.

So Vodacom, it has been 2 full business days and not even a phone call, e-mail or any form of communication . At this stage it is safe to assume you stole my money.

It is now Jan 27. All I had was one mail from Vodacom asking for my order number. No other correspondance or communication from them. Vodacom is pathetic, the absolute worse of the worst. I will also be reporting them to the relevant authorities.
