Ongoing WiFi Failure – Immediate Action Required

We refer to our numerous complaints to Vodacom regarding our WiFi service being down since 12 January 2026.

The router briefly worked, but as of this morning the WiFi is down again. This ongoing failure is exactly why we requested a backup LTE (5G) solution — a request that has still not been addressed.

We have lost count of how many times the service has been offline since January 2026, not to mention the issues experienced during 2025. We have also not received the detailed statement reflecting the credit due to us for the many days without service.

Once again, our business is forced to stand still due to no connectivity. We have been more than patient.

This matter must be resolved immediately. We also previously requested information on the process to cancel all our contracts and have received no response.

Please note: No phone calls. We require written communication only, as previous verbal undertakings have not been honored.

We have not phone again to report as we are totally fed-up to keep on calling Vodacom for assistance! When is this going to be sorted out permanently? We don't have time to send messages and keep on phoning Vodacom to get this sorted out! Come on now!

Resolve this issue once and for all.

We refer to complaint again since yesterday about Wifi services again. We see your reply that someone will make contact with us. When???
As usually we have to phone behind Vodacom. We need action NOW! Not empty promises of communications.

We refer to our ongoing WiFi complaints since 12 January 2026.This morning, a technician named Prince informed my fiancé, Raymond, that he would come out today to resolve the issue. It is now 16:45 — no technician has arrived, we still have no WiFi, and we have received no credit note confirming the amount due to us for this past month of interrupted service.Despite paying approximately R5,000 per month for our contracts, our business has now been negatively affected for three consecutive days due to no connectivity. We had planned to catch up on work over the weekend, but once again we are left without service and without proper feedback or resolution. This means another full weekend without WiFi.We are also still waiting for clear written guidance on how to cancel ALL our current contracts (±R5,000 per month). For context, our monthly commitment was previously close to R10,000, but due to ongoing WiFi issues for nearly two years, we have already reduced our contracts significantly. We have been loyal Vodacom clients for over 19 years. We have been patient. We have given ample opportunity for this to be resolved properly. We have now had enough. We require urgent written feedback on:
  1. Immediate restoration of our WiFi.
  2. Confirmation of the total credit due to us from 12 January 2026.
  3. The formal process to cancel all remaining contracts.
Please respond in writing only. We will not accept further verbal promises. We expect urgent action and clear feedback without further delay.

We refer to all our previous complaints regarding the ongoing WiFi service failures since 12 January 2026 - and ongoing problems. WIFI is sorted out for few days - then again problems persist!

This is now the THIRD time that Vodacom technicians have booked or promised to come out at a specific date and time — and then simply did not arrive.

On Friday morning, 20 February 2026, the assigned technician confirmed he would come to our home to resolve the WiFi issue. As with the previous two appointments, we rearranged and cancelled our own client bookings to ensure we were available. Once again, the technician did not arrive as arranged.Today is 22 February 2026. Our WiFi has been off again since Wednesday, 18 February 2026 — five days without service. For five days we have been unable to properly assist our clients or run our business due to Vodacom’s failure in service delivery.

We were further informed by a technician that we are the “only customers complaining” about WiFi outages. That statement is incorrect. Our neighbour across the street has also experienced the same outage since Wednesday and has logged complaints as well. They are equally fed up.

If the issue lies with Madibeng Municipality, why has Vodacom not engaged directly with them to resolve this matter permanently? Why must paying customers continuously suffer because of unresolved third-party issues? We experience WiFi problems at least once a month — previously almost weekly. This cannot be acceptable to Vodacom management.

We have repeatedly requested a backup LTE (5G) solution to prevent exactly this type of business disruption. Despite ongoing outages, this has still not been provided.Vodacom expects full monthly payments for our contracts, yet fails to deliver the reliable service we are paying for.

We once again formally request:
  1. Immediate restoration of our WiFi services.
  2. A permanent solution to prevent recurring outages.
  3. Written confirmation of the backup LTE (5G) solution.
  4. Clear written instructions on how to cancel all our current contracts.

We require urgent written feedback. No phone calls.

Vodacom WiFi Department — this matter now requires immediate escalation and decisive action.
