Ongoing ***** with nothing done about it!! No one cares at this company!

I have recently upgraded a cell phone contract. Last week I began receiving sms notification that the email on my account had been changed without my permission, to an unknown email address. This was the beginning of a week of multiple sms’ informing of a 24 months contract taken out on my name and also products purchased from Vodacom online, which were being delivered to an address by the courier that was not ours. The notifications keep coming and despite many phone calls, and multiple emails I am helpless to stop this ***** on my account and in my name!!! I am supposedly going to hear from the ***** unit but never do. I was told I have a ***** alert on my account and no further interactions could happen yet after this alert was activated another online purchase was made and sent out for delivery. No one responds to emails. When you ask to get put through to the ***** unit phoning through the Vodacom call centre at 082135, they tell you that none of the ***** numbers work. So we sit helpless and completely unprotected while ***** is perpetrated on my account, time and time again, and we can do nothing about it. This is like nothing I have ever seen before. Vodacom is complicit in this crime as they allow it to happen and seem to have no structure in place to protect their customers from exploitation. It seems to make no difference whatsoever to them that people care about their reputation, and don’t want ******* activities done under their names! We are now considering whether it is becoming necessary to lay charges against Vodacom for ***** on my account as they seem to feel no accountability and we have no means to put a stop to this. Be careful when signing new upgrades with this company. This is clearly an inside job as whoever it is, has access to make changes to our account and override the system with little effort. Clearly taking your money with no care about customer service and protection is the name of the game for Vodacom. Be warned!!!
