Once Again Vodacom Fails Miserably

I decided that due to the excessive costs I am paying for my Vodacom contract, I would cancel my contract, move to prepaid and then move to a different service provider. I called Vodacom early last week to go through with this and they said their systems are not working. I called again a day or two later and again their systems were not working. I made a third call on Friday and spoke to a lady named Siphelele. I told her to cancel my contract for the end of April and move my number to prepaid. She said it was no problem and confirmed that she understood if was to be canceled at the end of April, even explaining to me that I should use my data and minutes before the end of April. So I am 100% sure she knew what I wanted. However, my contract got canceled/suspended imemdiately on the day I made the request and I could not make or receive calls. Ho is this possible when Siphelele knew what I requested. I then called the call centre to ask them to reactivate the number and they were of no help. My husband then called them and got passed around to 4 different people, one of whom was a Supervisor named Mzwandile. He was of no help either. I then called again on Saturday, got passed around to another 3 different people and was told by one person that my account was in arrears and by another that my account was fully paid. Ho can there be such contradictions? I knew it was fully paid as I checked my bank statements. I then went to see someone at a customer care store and she called the call centre while I was with her. We spoke to a lady named Phiwokuhle Njovane who said it was Vodacom's error that caused this entire problem and that she would escalate it and my number would be active within 24 to 48 hours. It has been more than 48 hours and my number is still suspended. I called her now and she said she doesn't know why it hasn't been done and her manager is checking what the problem is. I asked to speak to him and she said she would put me through. The call did not go through. I am at a loss for words at the lack of interest from every single call centre employee I have dealt wth at Vodacom. Their service is disgusting and they have no respect for their customers. I can't wait to leave and join another service provider but they are even making leaving an impossible task and a completely miserable experience. I am awaiting feedback on my own job applications, and while my number is suspended I can not even receive calls from the companies I have app**** to. All thanks to Vodacom, a complete failure in service and customer care!

Still nothing! Vodacom is probably useless enough to try and contact me on the same number they suspended! Use my email address which is on your system!
